Chirer Doi (Flattened Rice Yogurt)
A traditional Bengali drink made with flattened rice and yogurt, Chirer Ghol is a wholesome and cooling beverage often enjoyed during hot weather.

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup flattened rice (chira)
    • 2 cups yogurt
    • 2 tbsp sugar
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
    • 1 cup cold water
  • Instructions:
    1. Wash and soak the flattened rice in water for 10 minutes.
    2. Blend the soaked rice with yogurt, sugar, salt, and roasted cumin powder.
    3. Add cold water and mix well.
    4. Chill and serve.
