Lemon and Mango Pickle
Ingredients:
- 4-5 raw
mangoes, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup
lemon juice
- 1 tbsp
mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp red
chili powder
- 1 tsp
turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 cup
mustard oil
Process:
- Wash and dry
the mango pieces thoroughly.
- In a bowl,
mix mango pieces with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Pour lemon
juice over the mangoes and mix well.
- Heat mustard
oil and let it cool, then add to the mixture.
- Add mustard
seeds and mix well.
- Transfer to
a clean, dry glass jar.
