Borhani
A tangy and spicy yogurt-based drink, Borhani is a traditional Bangladeshi beverage served at weddings and special occasions. It perfectly complements heavy meals like biryani.
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp black salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp mint leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- 2 cups cold water
- Instructions:
- Whisk the yogurt until smooth.
- Add cumin powder, black salt, sugar, mint leaves, and green chili paste.
- Slowly mix in cold water until well combined.
- Chill and serve cold.
