Salted Lassi
Description: This savory
version of lassi is a salty and tangy delight, often enjoyed as a refreshing
beverage in the heat or to aid digestion after a heavy meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups plain
yogurt
- 1/2 cup cold
water
- 1/2 tsp salt
(adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp
roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp
black pepper powder
- Fresh mint
leaves for garnish
Process:
- In a
blender, combine yogurt, cold water, salt, roasted cumin powder, and black
pepper powder.
- Blend until
smooth and frothy.
- Pour the
salted lassi into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- Serve
chilled.
